Sati is an artist and independent curator who sifts through meaning to find living pluralities. Through inquiry into her ancestral imaginaries from South India and China, and lineage wandering through Venezuela and Kuwait, alongside her experiences living in Mexico City, New York City, and Minneapolis, she is led to a fascination with transgressive holes in destinies and how time and scale can interrupt fictions of fixity.

Sati left the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in Sculpture and has worked with organizations such as Intermedia Arts and the Sylvia Rivera Law Project. Her work has been seen at the RISD Museum, 100% Silk Gallery, and the artist-run space Public Functionary where she currently works as a curator.
